Student Athlete Score Just Leveled Up
We've been hard at work giving Student Athlete Score a fresh look — plus a few upgrades that make getting around the platform a whole lot easier. Here's what's new.
New Sidebar
The biggest change you'll notice: navigation has moved out of the page header and in into a sidebar that lives on the left of your screen. Everything you use most is now one click away, no more hunting through menus.
The Directory
Previously, athletes, universities, brands, and posts each had their own separate pages. We've rolled them all into a single Directory, with a simple tab for each. Want to jump from browsing athletes to checking out brands? Just switch tabs — no back-and-forth required.
Trending Athletes / University Rankings
Previously, Trending Athletes and University Rankings had their own tabs on the Athletes / Universities pages. To simplify things, we’ve replaced these tabs with updated ordering options in the new directory - simply order by “Follower Growth” on the Athletes tab, or by any social metric on the Universities tab.
Upgraded Filters
Directory filters have a new and improved interface. No more clicking through tabs, all filters now live in a single, scrollable form. Active filters can be easily viewed in the bottom right of the interface. Saved filters now live directly in this interface under the “Presets” section for easier access.
"For You" Deprecation
We retired the old "For You" page and gave its best parts better homes:
- Shared links — anything that's been shared with you — now live on their own dedicated page, so they're easy to find and never get lost.
- Saved Filters — these have been moved right into the filtering tools in the Directory under the “Presets” section, so you can save and reuse your favorite searches without leaving the page.
New Look and Feel
You'll also notice the platform just feels a little nicer — cleaner layouts, smoother screens, and a more polished look overall. This part is still a work in progress, and we're going to keep refining things over the coming weeks to make Student Athlete Score slicker and easier to use than ever.
